I just looked at my calendar at work today and realized that there is just two weeks left until Hallowe'en! This is my favourite holiday of the year. I wish the government would recognize it as such and give us the day to celebrate. It's already an event geared towards consumerism. We might as well go all the way.
I'm not sure what I will dress up as exactly. I know they will involve my new boots:
I will either be a superhero (or villain) or a very tall witch!
I have finished my Summer Socks!
I am so happy with them. I love the colour. It really shows the pattern.
I have something else I can share with you all:
It's a bit late for a picture, but these were our desserts for Thanksgiving dinner.
Husband baked these wonderful treats. I'm ever so thankful that at least one of us enjoys working in the kitchen. If it was left up to me we would be dinning on a copious amount of macaroni and cheese or popcorn.
It's our wedding anniversary this week end. Actually, its on Monday but, we always celebrate the week end prior. It's just more relaxing that way. We don't have to worry about work the next day and can take our time with whatever we have planned.
I hope you all stay warm this week end. I just read on our weather report that we may receive possible flurries. I'm so not ready for that at this time of year. :( Have a great week end. :)

Hi Jocelynn! Thanks for the comment you posted. Apart from the friends and family I have on my mailing list, I have no idea who actually reads this thing. It's nice to know that someone out there's enjoying this!
Your blog's making me nostalgic for home. I miss having more than one season a year (actually, in Singapore there are two: hot and really hot). Hope you have a great Hallowe'en!
