The game is back on for my bordello socks. I have acquired some more 3 mm dpn shorties!
I also had some shopping therapy. This sort of fell into my arms as I was leaving the store. It screamed take me, take me. Who am I to break someone's little heart. I will christen him, Autumn.
I also purchased some more Addi's. I needed a larger size for the next sock in the queue for the sock class I'm taking through the local yarn store.
I'm off to watch the lightning. Have a great night everyone.

Oh Dear
I had that feeling that I should have stayed in bed. I should listen to these feelings. I can't explain to much, but I can share one awful little detail about my day.
You know how you are driving along? It's a beautiful day. You have awesome tunes blasting. Then you see it way too late.
Your friendly neighbourhood office, with that very stern look about him.
You are already pulling over. You hope like hell the insurance is where it is supposed to be.
Officer: Do you know why I pulled you over?
Me: ...........
Can we just skip the pleasantries. I understand I did something wrong. Please just give the ticket and we both go on our merry little ways.
It is early in the day for me at this point. I don't do well watching what I say. Apparently, it doesn't bother me that the person I am conversing with, carries a firearm.
Officer goes back to car.
I telephone hubby.
Unfortunately, I know the drill. I will be here for a little while. I wonder what those nice officers are doing when they take your license and insurance.
Me: Guess what?
Hubby: hm.
Hubby, small voice: k, what?
Me: I will not be able to get those kick ass shoes this weekend.
Hubby: How fast?
Me: You don't want to know.
Hubby: *sigh* Alright.
Me: It was a great tune.
Hubby: What is done is done.
Me: OK
Officer: This is your citation. Follow the instructions. Have a nice day.
Me: Thank you.
Me, inner voice: I just said thank you for punishing me. How messed up is that?
Lesson learned. I shall be more aware of my surroundings.
I should stop this tenants meeting in my brain. It is taking up valuable information storage. Joce, shhhh.
Oh well. Hi ho, hi ho, it off to work I go.
No new shoes this week end. I shall be a responsible adult. I think I have the technology for such a thing. Responsible. hmmm. Doesn't sound fun.
Hope you all have a great night/day. Just a couple of days, and it is the week end. I hope it is a good one for all you good people out there.

I Just Got One Thing to Say.....
WOW!?!?!?!
I guess this is how she (he) gets to her (his) happy place?
I can't figure if it is male or female. I will respect its privacy.
I choose alcohol. I have a fear of closed in and dark spaces.
I found this interesting little tidbit on one of the Ravelry forums. This is why I love that place! Knitters are definitely an interesting assortment of individuals.
I'm off to puzzle to the workings of the world.

Yuck
I am exhausted. The freakin' pager went off every 30 minutes starting at the lovely 600 mark.
It was always for something bizarre. A bus was stranded on the highway, the tranny dropped out of another. It was event after event after event. I have to check the lunar calendar and see if a full moon is due.
I did manage a bit of knitting in between crises.
The top view of the Coriolis sock:
The side view:
The heel:
I can't believe how long it took me to understand this one. The little blurb before the pattern begins explains it is a super easy sock. "Something she can knit forever and be happy". I do not share this vision. I will happy when it is off my circs.
I'm going to try and sleep a little. I hope you are all well.
