Today we wake to rain. So, we are inside some catch up on emails and internet surfing.
Most of our days have been spent outside. As soon as I get home in the morning from work, we enjoy the back patio, listening to the birds and insects buzz happily around.

Rorschach has been plotting for weeks his escape to the great unknown, a.k.a. outside.

He succeeded the other day, resulting in a bath.
Neither of us enjoyed the experience.

We cannot risk have fleas invade our home. My boy Napoleon is no longer strong enough to ward off the onslaught. He still believes he is a tough cookie but, he prefers to just lie quietly looking at all the action outside, not having the action come inside.
On a craft note, I completed a pair of socks, Dalekanium.

I used Paton's Kroy Socks in Blue Raspberry.
They are a lot shorter than I usually knit. I am grateful for the toe-up pattern.
I have also been working on a Provincial Birds of Canada series.
Here are a few in the works:

Well, I should probably think about eating something and take care of domestic duties before my morning runs away.
I hope you are all well and I would love to hear from you.
Take care!
